What's New?

I have 1 great and special Brother...Mr. Elflippo who is a true master at the chess board, and the turntable. He is known as the Bogieman 007. GOD has blessed me with 2 beautiful daughters that I LOVE, and not one more than the other. It gives me the greatest joy to spend time with them and to do special things for them. My 2 daughters are the greatest, and I LOVE both of them and would do any thing for them. Chelsea who is the oldest and brightest, and more special & unique of the two. And there is Destinee who is brilliant & special, and unique in her own way. That is my family, it is small but they are important to me. It is hard for me to stop talking about them because I LOve them so... The main thing that I want them to do is do well in school, so they can be anything that they want to be. I am in the process of writing a few short stories. Some of the titles are "Nicole loves Andrew, Filida loves Harlem, Gossip, and Nightshift". "Nicole loves Andrew" is about a young girl and a young boy who grow up and move apart early in life, and meet later in life...more to come. "Filida loves Harlem" is about a girl named Filida who moves to Harlem with her aunt, and learns and enjoys the riches of Harlem. "Gossip" is about just as it implies. "Nightshift" is a very short story that talks about a 14 hour shift in a Baltimore City firehouse, Engine Co. 25 which is now Disbanded. Engine 25 was the busiest station in the city, and I was there until it closed in 1989. The best time of my life was when both of my daughters were born. Chelsea was born on February 7th, 1989 & Destinee was born on December 27th., 1994. I love them both equaly, and they have been a special part of my life in many ways. I want both of them to get a good education and be any thing that they want to be. That is my number one priority in both of there lives. I want them to believe in God, and know that he will bring you through. No matter what in life they may go through, they must believe in him and he will bring you through. The second best time was when I was appointed to the Baltimore City Fire Department in 1980. This is a job that I had wanted since I was 5 years old. I used to see fire trucks go up & down the street when I was a kid in my South Baltimore neighborhood, Cherry Hill. I also saw a lot of police cars, and wanted to be a policeman secondly. I also saw a lot of trucks coming through Potee Street, and wanted to be a truck driver. I remember the first time that I had climbed into a truck...I fell in love with them. I was 19 years old, and working for Roadway Motor Freight, and one of the drivers told me to get in. I drove around the yard a few times, and after I had completed my job on Saturdays, the Dock workers went to the yard and drove around and backed the trailers up...I was hooked. Later that year I had obtained my Class A licence, which I still have today. There is nothing like driving big trucks. If God is willing I will own one someday.
